Where stories are heard and new chapters begin.

Hello, I'm Jenn McBride
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #20496). I have completed Introductory Theraplay® and MIM (Marschak Interaction Method) training and am committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education, workshops, and specialized training.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and techniques to meet the unique needs of each client. My work is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in a trauma-informed framework. I believe that therapy is most effective when there is open communication and partnership between therapist and client. I encourage questions, feedback, and honest conversations throughout the counselling process so that you feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
I am passionate about helping women, teens, and families navigate life’s challenges and discover their capacity for healing, resilience, and growth. I have a particular interest in early intervention and supporting foster, adoptive, and kinship families, as well as caregivers experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue. My experience includes working with children and families from hard places, both locally and internationally.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and compassionate, shaped not only by professional training but also by years of lived experience. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space that honours the complexity and individuality of each person’s story.
As a person of faith, I believe that even the most difficult chapters of our lives can hold meaning and purpose. While counselling is always client-centred and guided by your goals, I believe healing, hope, and growth are possible, even in life’s hardest seasons.

As Helen Keller wisely said:
“Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.”
When I’m not in the counselling office, you’ll likely find me enjoying a good cup of coffee, playing guitar, spending time outdoors with my retriever, or making memories with my husband and our children.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you begin your next chapter.
